Victim in the Hospital After Violent Robbery in Fort Sanders

Knoxville Police are investigating after a violent robbery in the Fort Sanders area Saturday night.

Officers were called to Highland Avenue and 22nd Street around 9:00 p.m. The victim says he was walking home when he noticed four men following him.

He says he was knocked unconscious by one of the suspects and they stole his wallet. The victim was transported to Fort Sanders Medical Center for treatment.

So far, no suspect information has been released. The family is offering a $500 reward in the case.
