UT Moving Students Out of Massey Hall to Create Isolation Housing for Potential COVID-19 Cases

UT announcing a big change to one dormitory. Over the coming days, current Massey Hall residents will begin moving into available spaces in other residence halls in order to create additional isolation housing for campus residents as COVID-19 cases increase on campus.

Massey residents received information this (Wednesday) morning with additional details about housing refunds and move-out procedures.

All Massey Hall residents will be tested for COVID-19 before they move.

Students in other residence halls who currently have a vacancy in their room or suite may be assigned a new roommate or suite mate as Massey residents relocate. Students who have paid for a single room will not be assigned a roommate.

Instructors have been made aware of these moves and have been asked to remain flexible with students as these sudden changes add another level of stress to the semester.
