Tennessee Students Will Count In the Knox County Covid-19 Data

At Monday’s Knox County Health Department Covid-19 briefing, KCHD Director Martha Buchanan said that UT students who test positive for Covid will count in the reported data as a Knox County case rather the student’s hometown or home state.

Buchanan simply explained saying, “they are living here. They get counted in Knox County.”

The University of Tennessee has an enrollment near 30,000.
