KPD Asking for Help to Find Hit and Run Suspect

The Knoxville Police Department is asking for your help for information regarding a hit-and-run.

KPD says the incident occurred on March 14 after midnight on Hill Avenue. A Joyride golf cart was traveling westbound on Hill Avenue just west of Hazen Street when an unidentified vehicle traveling the same direction struck the rear of the golf cart and fled the scene. The suspect vehicle, which should have visible front-end damage, appears to be a blue or dark colored four-door sedan.

The driver of the golf cart, a 51-year-old female, was transported to the UT Hospital with severe injuries that are not life-threatening.

If you have any information you are asked to call authorities.
