Oak Ridge Fire Department is Asking for Help to Find an Arsonist

The Oak Ridge Fire Department is asking for your help to identify a possible arsonist.

Firefighters responded to a call at 102 Artesia Drive on Valentine’s Day. The home was vacant and in foreclosure but had a sale pending. A firefighter was injured in the blaze because holes had been cut out of the floor prior to the fire. He was treated and released from the hospital.

Police, the TBI and Fire Officials are asking anyone with information to contact authorities.

The Oak Ridge Fire Department would like to remind everyone about the Tennessee Arson Hotline. You could earn a cash award of up to $1,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person starting the fire.
