Northshore Drive Won’t Completely Re-Open Until Mid-March Following Landslide

Northshore Drive will be one lane in each direction until mid-March.

A landslide yesterday (Wednesday) happened along Northshore Drive near Concord Drive along Fort Loudon Lake.

Officials with TDOT have installed signals to handle traffic because of the lane restrictions.

The road is expected to remain this way until mid-March.

Original Story:  Northshore Drive is down to one lane after the ground underneath the road gave way Wednesday. The slide happened near Concord Road along Fort Loudon Lake.

Officials with TDOT have installed signals to handle traffic as there is only one lane for both directions. Engineers are investigating how to fix the road, but there is no timetable for when the roadway will reopen.
