Flooding Concerns Again Ahead of Rains this Week

The flood risk continues this week as more rain moves in.

The National Weather Service has issued a flood watch for the region through Tuesday night.

The ground is already saturated and flash flooding can quickly develop. Please remember the phrase, “Turn Around, Don’t Drown.” Knoxville Police are warning you to slow down in the rain and watch for standing water.

The WVLT Weather Center is calling for widespread moderate to heavy showers Monday and will stick around until midday Tuesday.
