Daycare Owner Charged with Criminal Homicide Due in Court Next Week

Update:

The daycare owner, indicted after twin toddlers died in the facility’s West Knoxville pool, has her case in court today (Thursday).

Our TV News Partner, WVLT discovered Jennifer Salley was operating an illegal daycare after twins, Elijah and Elyssa Orejuela drowned last summer.

Salley was expected to appear in court today (Thursday) on two counts of Criminally Negligent Homicide charges. Only her lawyer was present. The Judge set an appearance for January 31st and motions for February 13th.
Salley is out on a $50,000 bond.
