Family and friends are remembering a Knoxville pastor and his wife, killed in a crash on Mascot Road Tuesday.

Ruben Wilson was a pastor in Knoxville for more than 50 years most recently at Three Points Baptist Church in Mascot. His wife Belinda was a piano player. They had one daughter.

Ruben was a pastor at five different churches in the area. Several canceled their Wednesday evening services so church members could join Three Points Baptist for a prayer vigil. Wednesday morning they laid a cross and a wreath at the scene of the crash.

The Wilson’s four-year-old granddaughter was in the car. Family says she’s out of the hospital doing okay. Two others were taken the hospital. There’s no word on their condition.
