Grainger Co. sinkhole leaves some residents stranded

Residents in Grainger County living along Honey Creek Lane have been stranded since early Monday morning after a massive sinkhole reopened and exposed a water line. Officials say the sinkhole first formed about nine years ago. A water main break was reported Monday, and officials say a 10 to 12 foot sink hole swallowed the roadway. At least 10 homes have been trapped. The hope is to have the road back open by Thursday.
