A hit and run victim dies days after his accident.
According to our TV News Partner, WVLT 36 year-old Troy Sample was riding a bicycle on Peterson Lane in Blount County Friday evening when he was struck by a pick-up truck. He was taken to UT Medical Center in critical condition where he died yesterday (Wednesday).
Police have identified a suspect in the crash and charges are pending.
