Bean Station Slaughterhouse Owner Receives Sentence

A Bean Station slaughterhouse owner received a sentence of 18 months in prison for tax evasion, wire fraud and employing undocumented immigrants. The owner, James Brantley, must also pay nearly a million and half dollars in restitution to the U.S. government. ICE agents raided the business in April of last year. The 62-year-old Brantley remains free for now and faces three years of supervised probation once he finished the 18-month sentence.
