A Kentucky Deputy was airlifted to UT Medical Center after a shooting Tuesday night.
Kentucky State Police say 28-year-old McCreay County Deputy Dustin Watkins was responding to a domestic dispute. 48-year-old Mark Dungan was in a car outside the home when Watkins arrived.
Officials say Dungan starting shooting hitting Watkins then fled the scene. He crashed head-on into a patrol car as he left. They found him in cemetery. Dungan is facing multiple charges including wanton endangerment, resisting arrest and more.
Watkins was flown to UT Medical Center listed in Critical Condition.
