KPD Uncovers Over 300 Pounds of Cocaine at West Knoxville Business

A KPD K-9 unit sniffed out over 300 pounds of cocaine at a West Knoxville business last week.

Management at the business called in a suspicious package last Thursday and Officer John Martin and his partner Benny identified it as containing narcotics. Their search uncovered 144 Kilos (317 pounds) of powder cocaine.

Police believe the business where the drugs were found are not related to the narcotics and are therefore not being identified.

Officials say the street value of the find is over $4 million dollars.
