Blount County Drug Bust in School Zone

Blount County deputies arrested a Maryville man they say was carrying drugs in a school zone.

Deputies say 27-year-old Dylan Tarbett was driving on Old Knoxville Highway near Rockford Elementary Sunday when he was pulled over and found with a felony amount of meth and heroin. The officer says he stopped Tarbett for a traffic violation, but a K9 officer found much more going on.

A woman in the car was also cited for drug paraphernalia. Tarbett was booked on a $80,000 bond.
