KCSO: Father Left Autistic Children near Drug Paraphernalia

A Knoxville man is in jail after officials say he left his young autistic children near drugs in order to run from authorities.

Investigators say they went to Dondray Frazier’s home on Stone Road Friday. They were allowed inside. That’s when they found the drugs and officers say Frazier took off. He was arrested after a short pursuit.

However, they say he left behind two autistic children without care and within reach of drug paraphernalia. Deputies reported finding marijuana, pills, meth and nearly $700 in cash in the home.

Frazier faces drug charges and child abuse/neglect/endangerment charges. The children were released to their mother.
